Fantastic bouquet of focus, concentration and power, there are layer’s of floral and mineral qualities adding subtlety and complexity. As the wine opens out in glass the true complexity begins to unfurl with scents of forest berries and flowers, a crumbled stony earth quality and layers of barrel and baking spices as well as energy. A dry wine touches the palate first then a flourish of red berry fruits flavours, red licorice and barrel spice layers. A silky texture also touches the palate contrasted by fruit and wood tannins and accentuated by acidity and suppleness. Tannins are integrating well, the wine has a great texture and mouthfeel, focused and lengthy finish. It is most of all an elegant wine. best drinking from 2023 through 2040.
