Wood smoke and wild flowers, red plums and ripe black cherry flesh, vanilla and cinnamon, toasty barrel and a harmonious floral lift. An alluring bouquet overall. Dry, varietal, ripe, fruity and delicious on the palate, flavours of red berries and plum, baking spices of barrel and wild flowers all reflect the bouquet. Ab abundance of fine tannins and med+ acid line. Well made, lengthy and very enjoyable. Best drinking from 2024 through 2029+. Perhaps pair with moderate to higher proteins fare.
