Pegasus Bay Aged Release Prima Donna Pinot Noir 2013, Waipara Valley, Canterbury

Fabulous bouquet of red berries, plums and raspberry, sweeter barrel scents and toasty wood spices of clove, vanilla and nutmeg. On the palate a delicious wine with core textures of chalky tannins and lively acid line. Fruit flavours remain primary and mirror the bouquet. Oak is integrating well still needing some cellar time to complete that phase. A complex, dry and vibrant wine with best drinking from 2023 through 2033.
