Aromas of black cherry and milk chocolate, black currant and dark fleshed berries, a fine tobacco and graphite quality and a mix of new and seasoned wood suggestions. Full-bodied and very new still with core flavours that mirror the bouquet clove to vanilla then with plums and dark cherry fruits, blackberry and spices from clove to vanilla pod then chocolate and smoky wood. Tannins are big and bold needing time to settle and sink into the fruit, acidity is also bold also needing settling in time. Complex, dry and lengthy with best drinking from 2026 through 2036+.
