Herringbone Syrah 2021, Hawke's Bay

An attractive bouquet with core aromas of black currant and red berries, there’s a natural spice quality and layers of barrel and toasty wood, there’s also scents of violet and clay soils. A naturally dry wine on the palate with flavours of red currant and spice, black currant and lees spices with a nut-like oak quality. Firm tannins and a backbone of acidity ensure this wine will age and develop well. Best drinking from 2023 through 2028.
