Varietal, fruity, youthful and earthy with a core of dark cherry and plum scents then light toasty wood scents and dark rose. Youthful, taut and gently firm on the palate with tannins and acidity setting the foundation. Dry with a core of red berry flavours and plum, violet and barrel spices layer in in on the palate. There’s a youthful tautness from the needle-point tannins and bright, fresh quality. A well made example with best drinking from 2023 through 2028.
