Luna Eclipse Chardonnay 2021, Martinborough

There’s a lot to like about the bouquet of this wine - aromas of fleshy, ripe stone fruit, vanilla cream and red apple. There’s also no mistaking the layers of new French oak adding complexity and power. Full-bodied, dry, satin textured and rich in both flavour and texture. Fine tannins and medium+ acidity cushion the core fruit flavours, vanilla and nectarine, grapefruit and barrel spices all lead to a balanced, even and lengthy finish. Best drinking from 2023 through 2027.
