Aromas of dark blackberry fruits with roasted Doris plums and expensive chocolate, there’s scents of black olive and dried herb, toasty barrel smoke and spice layers. New, complex and enticing. Lovely weight and texture on the palate, dry with flavours of baking spices and bitter chocolate, black berry and dark plums. Firm tannins are ripe and set the structure nicely along with acidity. Lovely length and finish. Needs time to pull together and harmonise. Best drinking from 2026 through 2036+.
