For me this is a classic TK John Martin expression - aromas and flavours of plums and dried strawberries laced with textures of brown soils and toasty barrel and clove oak qualities. Lush, textured and refreshing on the palate with flavours that reflect the bouquet. An abundance of fine tannins and barrel spice qualities, medium+ acid line and textures from tannins, acidity and balance against the core of fruits. Best drinking from 2023 through 2029.
