Rock Ferry 'Trig Hill' Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022, Central Otago

Varietal and attractive bouquet with flavours of dark plums and cherry, there’s a core of mineral and barrel spices with nutmeg and cinnamon then vanilla, some wood smoke and earthy qualities add depth and complexity especially as the wine opens out in glass. Dry, firm and textured with an abundance of fine dusty tannins, backbone of acidity and core fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet. Some dried herb and other spices continue to add complexity and length. Well made and ready to drink from late 2025 through 2033+.
