Zephyr Organic Chardonnay 2022, Marlborough

There’s an old-world theme to this wine with a bouquet of flowers and mineral then white fleshed fruits and some apple-peach qualities. Flinty, crisp and dry as the wine touches the palate, spice and mineral then apple, lemon and white peach flavours laced with lees complexity and texture. Plenty of acidity, a whisper of salinity and a moderate+ finish. Delicious, fresh and dry with best drinking from 2024 through 2029.
