Moss Wood Ribbon Vale Merlot 2021, Wilyabrup, Margaret River

A lovely bouquet led by its florla and hamronious side then flavours of red berries and plums, forest violets then layers of wood spice and natural fermnt complexities - lees and nut, a touch of marmite and leather. Firm and dry on the palate with an abundance of tannin and acidity to assimilate into the wine, the core fruit flavours easily absorbing much of the energy output from such a youthful expression. A wine of texture and length with best drinking from 2026 through 2033+.
