Folding Hill Chardonnay 2021, Bendigo, Central Otago

Distinctive scents of Chardonnay from Otago ring loud and clear in the bouquet of this wine, aromas and flavours of green melon then peach, layers of apple and apple blossoms, vanilla and crushed cashew nut. A satin texture with medium+ acid line and flavours that mirror the bouquet. Fine tannins and plenty of weight deliver a wine of complexity and charm, a specific expression of place and an excellent vintage. Best drinking from mid to late 2024 through 2030.
