Framingham Chardonnay 2022, Marlborough

A delicious wine ticking all the boxes of texture and ripeness, flavours of yellow stone fruits and citrus then flavours of peach custard and vanilla. The mouthfeel is excellent with a firmness from the mix of fruit and wood tannins, core fruit intensity and acid line that stretches the across the palate with ease. Taut, youthful and dry with a light chalky texture, a balanced and judicious use of oak; a wine that will develop nice over the next 1-3 years. Best drinking from mid to late 2024 through 2028.
