Fantastic colours of dark purple and ruby at the core and rim. An equally vibrant bouquet of fresh balck currant and baked raspberry, iron and white smoke, red licorice and violets and crushed flowers. Additional aromas of barrel spices and iron add complexity and power. Dry, delicious, complex and layered. Tannins and acidity set in place a firm youthful structure, contrasting core of ripe dark red berry fruits, spicy meats and barrel spices. Taut and dry, varietal, fresh and complex. Best drinking from 2026 through 2040.
