The Wrekin Vineyard 'Needle's Eye' Pinot Noir 2016, Marlborough

Complex and new, youthful and varietal with a core of red berry fruits and dried spice, cherry and red apple, some barrel spices and roasted nut qualities. Firm and dry on the palate with a core of fruit and backbone of tannins and acidity. This is a delicious wine with pinosity at heart, a youthful frame and core fruit flavours surrounded by tannins and acidity setting the foundation for further development. Best drinking from 2026 through 2036.
