Johanneshof Cellars 'New Dawn' Méthode Traditionnelle Brut Rosé 2011, Marlborough

A highly polished very bright appearance with hues of salmon and peach lead to a bouquet and palate filled with flavours of red apple and apricot, white nectarine and strawberry. Thees effect is signnificant layering in complexity, texture and toasty flavours of backed brioche and croisssnat with jam (a bit poetic, but this wine is lovely). Full-bodied, crisp and dry, a wine that reflect both place and winemaker with a fine mousse and plenty of acidity along with flavours that reflect the bouquet. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2029.
