Yealands Estate S1 Single Block Sauvignon Blanc 2021, Awatere Valley, Marlborough

I have tasted this wine a few times and even today it still has a wonderful freshness and fine savoury dried herb complexity. On the palate - flavours of fresh sage and golden kiwifruit melt into a stony mineral and salty air quality then citrus and white peach layer in. The acid line is still distinctive and will help keep this wine fresh and youthful for a year or two more. Best drinking from 2022 through 2026.
