Very attractive bouquet with finesse and charm, some bottle-age qualities and core earthy appeal. Flavours of old roses and fallen leaves, a stony mineral quality and fruit flavours of red and dark cherry, old starwberry and a red currant quality. Moderately weighted with a fine chalky tannin quality, medium acidity and gently warming quality. The texture and length on the palate adds to the complexities already noted in the core fruit and varietal qualities this wine carries. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2027+.
