Black Estate Treble Rosé 2022, North Canterbury

Made with a blend of Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc - the bouquet and palate showcase aromas and flavours of fresh red apple skin and rose petals, sweet raspberry and blueberry flesh. The texture is firmish with some chalky tannins, crisp with plenty of acidity. A wine of texture and mouthfeel, individual and attention seeking, ripe, fruity and quite delicious - reminding me a little of apple and blackberry pie. Great drinking from 2023 through 2026.
