Monowai Pinot Noir 2021, Hawkes Bay

Aromas of crisp and fleshy dark cherry, boysenberry and fresh plum. Barrel spices of clove and some kitchen cupboard spices along with a fine lees complexity add depth and enticement. Lovely mouthfeel and fruit concentration with a back bone of tannins and acidity framed by some moderate use of oak and polished texture. Well made and quite youthful still so best drinking from mid 2023 through 2028+.
