Monowai Merlot 2010, Hawkes Bay

A fully integrated bouquet of date and old plum, some cherry spice and cola moments. Some barrel spices of clove and vanilla still have an impact and add complexity. A dry wine on the palate with equally fully integrated attributes, some dusty tannins and moderate acid line. Best drinking with food and soft cheeses from day of purchase and through 2023.
