Berry flavours touch the palate first with contrasting youthful tannins and acidity for stucture and power emphaising the mineral and natural rocky surrounds of the vineyard. Some peppery saline and roasted nut flavours layer in complexity, a violet and aged meats quality reflect the variety, site and old-world style charms this wine and producer reveal so well.
