Saving Grace Pinot Noir 2021, North Canterbury

Mineral and fruity, varietal and enticing with a sense of place and time. Aromas and flavours of mineral-laden soils and chalk, red currant and cherry then red apple and strawberry compote. Dry with an abundance of fine tannins and medium+ acidity, some sweetness of oak and baking spices of French barrels, contrasting core of red berry fruit flavours and lengthy flavourful finish. Best drinking from 2023 through 2029.
