Mount Michael 'The Mountaineer' Pinot Noir 2021, Central Otago

Flavours of fresh red cherry and raspberry flesh, there’s a lovely floral lift with apple blossom then of barrel spice suggesting dusty clove and vanilla. Tannins are youthful, abundant, fine and textured. Acidity drives the frshness and powers the fruit flavours through the palate. Youthful and fresh, plenty of pinosity and quite delicious. Ready to drink from early 2023 through 2029.
