Patria Chica Vino de Pago Tempranillo Garnacha 2020, Spain

A distinctive and enticing boquuet with aromas of place and time, plum and dark berries, strawberry, insense, cinnamon, whispers of aged meat and plenty of vanilla and barrel layers. Quite delicious on the palate - a wine of texture as much as it is flavour. An abundance of finely textured tannins weave between a mix of red berry and plum fruit flavours, medium acidity and a lengthy dry finish with plenty of complexity and charm. Great drinking from 2022 through 2028.
