Les Jamelles Syrah 2020, Pays d'Oc, France

Aromas and flavours of a vibrant, fresh and youthul red wine with scents of black currant and blue fruits then a granitic, woody layer adding depth and foundation. Plums and raspberries, some violet floral tones and wood spices of vanilla and clove layer through as the wine opens up in glass. Dry, juicy, fleshy and crisp. Fine tannins and medium+ acid line contribute to a balanced and well made wine. Excellent drinking from 2022 through 2026.
