This is a delicious, fresh and delightful champagne made with Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay suggesting aromas and flavours of strawberry and apple, spiced pear and a fine yet intense leesy quality. It is both elegant and refreshingly new and youthful. As the wine touches the palate the flavours of lees and strawberry arrive first then pear and apple with some old grapfruit and white spice layers. There’s a distinctive chalky mineral quality and vibrant core of energy and youthfulness. The mousse is refreshing and moderately fine with a slightly salty note and delivers the flavours and acidity with ease. Balanced and well made with a lengthy aperitif finish. Best drinking from day of purchase and through 2029.
