Windrush Organic Empire Chardonnay 2020, Marlborough

Pure, fresh, ripe and inviting bouquet with sents of fresh red apple and nectarine, sweet citrus and a fine lees complexity followed by vanilla and a creamy yoghurt quality. Fresh, equally ripe and varietal with flavours that reflect the bouquet begining with citrus and pith then stone fruits and apple. Fine wood tannins with medium+ acidity with a youthful taut finish. This is a lovely example with cellar time available if you would like that. Best drinking from 2023 through 2030.
