Wairau River Reserve Chardonnay 2021, Marlborough

A really lovely, calm, balanced and enticiing bouquet with a full-rounded texture and familiar aromas of roasted peaches and baked apple, white apricot and vanilla, fine sweet wood scents and a clay stone mineral quality. On the palate - equally lovely with a fresh stone fruits, pineapple and vanilla custard woody quality. There’s complexity from the harmonious attributes of fine fruit and wood tannins, stone fruit and some grapefruit citrus flavours, some tension fron acidity and fine textures. Balnaced, well made and delicious. great drinking from 2022 through 2026+.
