Bannock Brae Goldfields Pinot Noir 2019, Central Otago

A very enticing savoury complexity with a core of light red berry fruit aromas, black currant and strawberry, spiced cherry and a savoury wild thyme quality. Salivating, dry, fruity, varietal and textured on the palate. Fruit and dried herb falvours mirror the bouquet accentuated by firm tannins and acidity. There’s also a light saline note on the finish adding depth and complexity. Well made with some cellar time ahead. Best drinking from 2023 through 2030+.
