Duck Hunter Pinot Noir 2022, Marlborough

Very bright appearance with ruby and purple hues leading to a bouquet of pinosity and fruit intensity, varietal scents of dark cherry and crunchy red apple skin. There’s some black currant scents with a quiet layer of wood spice suggesting vanilla. Dry, taut, youthful and lush with flavours that reflect the bouquet, some chalky tannins and acidity accentuate the core fruit flavours and carry them through the palate. Well made and ready to drink from 2023 through 2027.
