October 30 Chardonnay 2020, Matakana, Auckland

A single vineyard hand-picked wine with a bouquet of fresh yellow peach and apple, some grapefruit notes and layers of French oak with spice and sweetness. On the palate a satin-cream textured wine with plenty of bite from oak then acidity, soom warming alcohol and wood spice flavours. Peaches and apple flavours along with some grapefruit layer back in giving this wine context, flavour and finish. Well made and ready to drink from 2022 through 2027.
