Youthful, complex and intriguing bouquet with aromas of old-fashioned baked seameal custard with roasted stone fruits, a dry stone mineral layer and baked tree fruits. There’s also fragrances of wood caramel, lees and a whisper of butterscotch. Weighty, youthful and primary with flavours of tree and stone-fruits that mirror the nose, toasty barrel spices and custard, some citrus pith and peel along with a firm youthful texture. Fine wood tannins and medium+ acidity. Balanced and well made with a lengthy finish. Best drinking from 2021 through 2026+.
