Beach House Wines Cabernet Malbec 2019, Gimblett Gravels, Hawkes Bay
Complex and enticing bouquet of dark red berries and new wood scents, plenty of toasty wood and baking spice suggestions with clove and vanilla. There’s a sweet violet and cassis charm along with some earthy stony soil suggestions. On the palate - salivating, fruity, firm textured and dry. As the wine opens up on the palate the flavours of violets and cassis along with blackberry and dark plum begin the unfurl. Firm, ripe, chalky tannins, plenty of acidity. A really lovely wine with potential and drinkability form today and through 2030.
