Known Unknown Sun Burn Syrah Rosé 2021, Hawkes Bay

This is a tank sample, unlabeled - so just for fun, I guess.

The appearance is of a dark rose and cherry colour palette with a very light pink rim.

Aromas and flavours of plums and cherries with a raspberry edge, some herbal, bracken earthy qualities add complexity then a fermented rose and lees spice frame. Fresh and crisp with medium+ acidity, chalky fruit tannins and moderate length. Overall balanced and well made. Best drinking from 2022 through 2024. Could be served chilled or cellar temperature.
