Mount Michael The Mountaineer Pinot Noir 2020, Central Otago

Very enticing bouquet of dark berries and plums laced with clove and toasted vanilla spice of French oak. Crushed violets and raspberry, dark cherry and red apple. Dry, fruity and salivating on the palate with flavours that reflect the nose, velvet tannins, plenty of acidity and juicy, lengthy finish. Red apple and raspberry then dark cherry and crushed roses. A lovely example, harmonious, balanced and well made. Drinking best from 2022 through 2028.
