Classic Te Motu red wine bouquet with scents of dark plum and savoury earthy undertones, black berry then olive paste, an abundance of barrel spices and moments of wood smoke. On the palate - youthful, dry, fruity, layers of wood spices and barrel flavours then plum and berries and a touch of violet. Overall a wine that is ready to drink, but will also continue to develop in cellared conditions. Best from 2022 through 2030
