Waitiri Creek 'Anthem Block' Pinot Noir 2019, Central Otago

Slightly darker hued ruby and purple appearance. A wonderful bouquet with classic Otago dark red fruit aromas, brown spices of toasty barrel, a softer savoury core and fruit aromas of red berries and dark roses. Complex and interesting. On the palate - the core of fruit expression continues with contrasting barrel spice, tannins and plenty of youthful acidity. There’s a mineral and light-weight salinity level adding texture to an already delicious mouthfeel. Well made with plenty of length and complexity. Best drinking from late 2022 through 2028+.
