Astrolabe Wairau Valley Pinot Noir 2018, Marlborough

Cherries and roses, black currant and dark baking spices. A soft savoury fruit layer with a fine silty minerality adds complexity and a rose floral note adds charm and elegance. Flavours of strawberry and cherry on the palate with fine tannins and medium+ acidity. Barrel flavours are mild with a gentle toasty and brown spice complexity. Drinking well now, better in 2022 through 2026+.
