Fruity and vibrant with a core of varietal aromas including spicy dark cherry, plum and dark roses. A sense of place too with a stony crumbled rock earthy quality and toasty wood and baking spices complexity. Plenty of vibrato follows through onto the palate with a firm tension and hold from the tannins and acidity, a contrasting core of ripe and fresh dark berry flavours brings a sense of balance and promise. Lengthy, well made and ready for the cellar till 2023 or drink now with a rarer cut of meat and green winter vegetables. Best drinking from 2022 through 2028+.
