Taste history in a glass.

Grown and bottled by Mission Estate Huchet Chardonnay -named after Brother Cyprian Huchet, one of New Zealand’s pioneering winemakers (circa 1870) is a captivating wine with a spun gold hue and very bright appearance leading to aromas of stone fruit and barrel spices, roasted cashew and brazil nut, burnt butter and apple, and a light sweet raw sugar scent. On the palate - the wine is creamy, rich in flavour and texture with fruit flavours of roasted nectarine and apricot, baked apple and grapefruit peel. With medium acidity and super fine wood tannins the texture transitions from creamy to tense enhanced by the flavours of citrus and French oak. Lengthy finish, full-bodied, nutty, packed with flavours of stone fruits and citrus, it’s rather delicious and definitely ready. Best drinking is upon purchase and through 2025.
