Eaton Cuvée Forte Sauvignon Blanc 2019, Marlborough

A distinctive bouquet, varietal, textured, fruity, floral and mineral. Aromas of lemon and wild flowers, apple and river stone, pith and white fleshed stone fruits, lees and fruit spice. On the palate - quite intense with as much texture as there is flavour. Peach and grapefruit, lemon barley and pith, a light flinty quality and crushed stone earthy quality. nice weight and tension with some back palate action showcasing a few botanical messages. Well made, youthful, aperitif style. Best drinking from mid to late 2021 through 2026.
