Stonecroft Serine Syrah 2019, Gimblett Gravels, Hawkes Bay

Aromas of meats and baking spices, forest flowers and wild red berries. Raspberry and blackcurrant, earthy with a fruits core, some pepper and sweet barrel wood aromas. Complex and very enticing. On the palate - satins textures give way to firm tannins and youthful acidity. Flavours of black currant and ripe dark berries then sweet wood and barrel smoked meats. Delicious, but young. Best drinking from late 2021 through 2027+.
