Charcoal Gully Sallys Pinch Pinot Noir 2014, Central Otago
Vibrant, youthful and fruity bouquet with aromas of dark cherries and dried raspberry, spices of toasty French oak barrel, a stony earthy quality and youthful complexity. On the palate - powerful, fruity, earthy and dry. Flavours reflect the core of red berry fruits and raspberry, there’s plenty of tannin and acidity for texture with fruit and oak flavours for contrast. Still youthful and can remain in your cellar if you like. Best drinking from 2022 through 2028+. If opened between 2022 and 2024 - I suggest it be enjoyed with food.
