Made with estate grown Syrah - the concentrated and fruit centric bouquet releases aromas of dark black currant and black licorice, baking spices and dark plums, some new leather, nut and sweet new barrel scents. Complex, youthful and engaging. Firm, dry, weighty, varietal, peppery and complex with a core of fruit and wood flavours that reflect the bouquet. Firm tannins and a backbone of acidity provide for a sound foundation. Well made, still developing, but quite delicious. Best drinking from late 2023 through 2033+.
