Neudorf Rosie's Block Moutere Chardonnay 2020, Nelson

Really fantastic bouquet with scents of ripe yellow fleshed stone fruit and leesy complexity, a mix of older and new barrel scents and a natural harmonious complexity. Inviting, youthful and varietal. On the palate - a silky texture touches the palate first followed by a youthful bite of acidity and textures from oak and lees. There’s a fine chalky feel embellished by flavours of stone and tree fruits, vanilla and a fine toasty barrel complexity. An excellent wine with perfect drinking from mid 2022 through 2028+.
