Daniel Le Brun Blanc de Blancs 2013 Methode Traditionnelle, Marlborough

A classically styled sparkling wine with aromas of a fine leesy autolysis then fruit then bottle aged complexities. Flavours of apples and stone fruit, water crackers and a hint of brioche. Quite toasty from bottle-age, but also crunchy, crisp and refreshing with acidity also pushing flavours of lemon rind and peach. Balanced and flavourful with an satin texture and lengthy finish. Best drinking upon purchase and through 2022.
