Luna Estate Riesling 2020, Martinborough

There’s no mistaking the aromas of Riesling with this wine - apples and apples, lemon tea, peach and a core steely minerality. Fragrant too with a white rose scent. On the palate - tense, crisp, fruity and finishes dry. There is some residual sugar, but hardly noticeable. Flavours mirror the nose led by citrus then white fleshed orchard fruits, roses and mineral. Balanced, crisp and youthful. A lovely aperitif style with a core of fruit and fine lees texture. Drink upon purchase and through 2028.
