Pyramid Valley North Canterbury Orange 2019

There’s no mistaking the orange hue and bright appearance of this wine. The aromas are quite captivating with apricot nectar and roasted peach scents then fermented flowers and orange marmalade. Quite powerful on the palate with textures from fine sand to chalk, flavours that reflect the nose and quite a lengthy finish. The mouthfeel is the most revealing aspect of this wine followed by the stone fruit flavours and floral notes. Overall an intriguing wine, made with Pinot Gris. Well made with best drinking from today and through 2022.

Be sure to either finish the whole bottle upon opening (with friends) or use a proper preserving system you trust. Coravin a good idea.
